SPRINGFIELD – The city is partnering with a nonprofit agency to help moderate-income families become homeowners — all while adding single-family homes in one of Springfield’s most challenged neighborhoods.
Home City Development has purchased 10 lots from the city with the goal of building single-family homes throughout the Old Hill neighborhood, said Joesiah Gonzalez, chief operations officer for the organization.
