Bluffton homebuilder launches new custom home brand

Front Light Building Co. has launched a new semi-custom home brand called Lanthorne Homes that will be offered at an under-construction mixed-use golf community in the Upstate.

The company, which currently offers high-quality homes in Coosaw Point in Beaufort County, will soon offer its semi-custom houses in the recently announced Olde Eight development in Greenwood County, according to a news release.

“Lanthorne Homes offers a bridge between a dream and a reality for many families,” said Matt Green, CEO and co-founder of Front Light Building Co. and Front Light Building Development Co., in the release. “We are creating a space where homeowners can enjoy personalized touches within a framework that makes it attainable for those who want that experience without the complexities of a full custom build.”

Lanthorne Homes provides a variety of floorplans to choose from, according to the release. Its digital design team delivers an individualized, interactive experience that simplifies the selection process and enables customers to incorporate custom features into their homes, the release stated.

Front Light was established in 2014 in Bluffton.

Olde Eight Development is a $400 million master-planned, mixed-use development on Lake Greenwood, combining modern residential living, world-class golf facilities and commercial spaces, according to the release. Designed to attract both locals and visitors, the project is expected foster economic growth and solidify Greenwood County as the choice location for golf, golf instruction, leisure and lakeside work and life.
