From randomly staying in Tokyo lately to previously purchasing (and gutting) a Tadao Ando-designed Malibu mansion, Kanye West‘s living situations have been murky lately.
But after unloading the Malibu home, he’s found new fascinating digs across town in Beverly Hills.
The new spot is on about seven acres of land and has 11 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms within its 20,000-foot footprint. According to TMZ, the home, in the gated Beverly Park North area in the Hills, cost him $35 million and has a luxe pool area and other pools for swimming or soaking.
But like most things Ye touches, which are the status quo, it appears the Chicago creative wants to put his own spin on the property.

He took to Instagram, confirming his new purchase by posting an aerial photo of it and another that still showed the house –but drawn over– with the word “DROAM” above it.

DROAM is one of Ye’s many abandoned and ambitious projects that date back to almost a year ago when he put out a sparse job posting asking for project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and builders.
But what exactly is DROAM? It’s a 100,000-acre city that Ye wanted to build in the Middle East last year but never came to fruition. So, Ye posting his new home and a mock might signal what he’s got planned for the Beverly Hills community.
Going from a 100,000-acre sitting to a seven-acre in an upper-class neighborhood means West’s neighbors will be a lot closer than they’d be in the Middle East. So TMZ spoke to some of the other homeowners about the potential commotion, and it’s safe to say getting permission from the Home Owners Association won’t be easy.
Not only is TMZ reporting that the HOA would probably never vote for the build, but one even called the rapper “delusional” for planning to build a self-sustaining city in an existing one.
But for now, West seems to be still living his best life with Bianca Censori, as the two have been spotted all over Tokyo recently.
See how social media is reacting to Ye’s lofty new idea.
